Sweet pepper "California Wonder Black".
Mid-early high-yielding variety: from germination to technical ripeness 110-120 days. Plants are 90-110 cm high. Fruits of original color, weighing 220-250 g, thick-walled (8-10 mm). The taste is excellent, peppers are juicy, sweet, and aromatic. Suitable for cooking, canning and freezing.
Yield: 9-10 kg/m2.
Fruits are cuboid, black-brown, thick-walled (6-8 mm), transportable with a high content of ascorbic acid.
Used both fresh and in all types of culinary processing.
AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY.
Sweet pepper prefers sandy loamy, well-drained soils. The best time for sowing seeds for seedlings: mid-February - early March. The optimum temperature for seed germination is +20+25°C. Seedlings appear in 12-15 days. In the phase of 1-2 true leaves, seedlings are pricked. Seedlings are fed 2-3 times with a complex mineral fertilizer. 7-10 days before planting, seedlings begin to harden. Transplanting into the ground is carried out when the threat of frost has passed.
